Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with BYD of China

On 13th May 2025, the technical team of BYD, a leading enterprise in the new energy automobile industry, arrived at Suzhou Jincheng Precision Casting Co., Ltd. to carry out a comprehensive quality inspection and supply chain cooperation assessment on the production of automobile die-casting parts.

Detection focus: process details and reliability verification

BYD's technical team focused on the production process of Jincheng Precision in the core parts such as gearbox shells, engine components and shock absorbing brackets.

1. Material performance testing: Spectrum analyser verifies the stability of aluminium alloy composition to ensure that the tensile strength, corrosion resistance and other indicators meet the design requirements;

2. Dimensional accuracy control: Coordinate measurement for micron-level accuracy testing of key parts to ensure assembly compatibility;

3. non-destructive testing applications: fluorescent magnetic particle technology to detect surface cracks, X-ray flaw detection to assess internal structural integrity;

4. supply chain management audit: the system achieves supplier follow-up, inventory dynamic monitoring and procurement process standardisation.

Co-operation Outlook: Technology Synergy and Industrial Upgrade

The person in charge of BYD's supply chain said, ‘Jincheng Precision's technical accumulation in the field of die-casting process and mould design is impressive, especially in the ability of one-shot moulding of complex structural parts, which demonstrates the industry's leading level.’ BYD plans to include Jincheng in its Yangtze River Delta region core supplier list, the future or joint development of lightweight body parts to adapt to the next generation of electric vehicle platform.
